During the meeting in Telde we attended a seminar at the Faculty of Education of the University of Las Palmas as part of the teaching degree with the title "Methodological strategies in foreign language teaching to avoid school dropout" (see presentation)

Starting point of the lecture was the analysis of the factors that make successful learning possible. We discussed those factors and as a conclusion found out how important emotions are in learning.

After that we put ourselves in the role of a student, given the task of learning how to juggle. This was supposed to be a metaphor for learning a foreign language and we searched for different methods that could help us with the learning process: looking for explanations and videos from the internet, trying it ourselves, working together with a partner, learning gradually, practicing and repeating over and over again.
