The Nuestra Señora de la Fuensanta (Jesús-María) school is located in Murcia. Our school has infant education, primary education and secondary. It has around 700 students and 50 teachers. It was founded in the year 1966 . Until 1998 it had different modules of vocational training. Currently we have infant education, primary education and Compulsory Secondary Education. Our school offers the
bilingual program in both primary and secondary.
It is a school specialized in attention to diversity. We have AL teachers in both primary and secondary schools (Hearing and language) and PETE (therapeutic pedagogy) to help students with specific needs. Hence, in secondary school, the
PMAR educational program (Learning improvement and reinforcement program) for students with motivation problems and school absenteeism due to an unfavorable family environment. We also have a school reinforcement program. The school works on different social programs to help families and the neighborhood environment, collaborating with Cáritas and nearby parishes.
As in the previous projects in which we have worked both in Comenius and Erasmus+, what we want is that our students can access cultural exchanges, and learn about other social and school realities that help them grow in the effort
and responsibility educating them in tolerance and respect. Accessing to work with students from different European countries. We believe that participating in this type of project motivates both students and teachers to continue thinking about school activities and programs related to the topic of the project. From there we intend to motivate the rest of the teaching staff to carry out work on the project.
