The central topic of the program are the greek words Play (Παιχνίδι) and Child (Παιδί), two words that come from the same root and are interrelated with each other. Play is an integral element of children's expression and is their main activity. Games travel through time and to every corner of the earth. We will travel with them, we will look back and record games of another era, which have reached our days, thus illuminating their historical course. We will collect old photos with traditional toys and create a questionnaire for parents, grandparents, neighbors of students in the form of interviews in order to get information about the games of the past. We will also visit the Benaki Toy Museum which hosts toys and objects of childhood from antiquity to 1970 and from various countries of the world.

Our goal is also to highlight the contribution of play to children's development and to emphasize the great importance of play in their daily lives, as a means of education, education, socialization and mental and physical health. An important goal of the program is entertainment by diffusing the playful spirit in the learning process, playing old and favorite games and making toys and crafts with rough materials. At the same time, we will utilize New Technologies, expand our knowledge and cultivate soft skills, both teachers and students of the partner schools. Finally, we will present our program to the school community and transfer our experience and the results of the program to the parents/guardians of our students.
