IES AL-FAKAR High School is located in the town of Alfacar, 7 kilometers from Granada. It started its journey in 2000 to host students from the towns of Alfacar and Víznar.
It is a small school that believes in unity as a form of communication and work and its motto is BELIEVE, CREATE, GROW.

IES AL-FAKAR is a bilingual public school, in which the languages ​​of instruction are Spanish and English. At the same time, an important feature is the school's attitude towards Art, which determines to a significant extent the education of the students and aims to educate competent citizens with high self-esteem.
