The delegation of our school visited our new friends in Palermo in May 2022. During our stay there, workshops and activities took place within the framework of our common goals:

1. Creating emotionally safe learning spaces.

2. Inclusion and acceptance of the different skills of each child.

3. Promoting good practices for ecology and sustainability.

4. Digital literacy and extended use of foreign languages.

Thus, the students' program included, among other things:

• First approach of our children, schools and countries through prepared presentations, digital quizzes and games (using the e-twinning platform and other digital applications)

• Music and dance workshops, with the participation of many students of ICS Vittorio Emanuele III, in addition to the Erasmus+ group.

• Tours to the Arab-Norman Unesco monuments of Palermo, guided by the Italian team.

• Tour of the Valley of the Temples (Agrigento) with a "treasure hunt" prepared by the Italian team.

•  Presentations of students’ proposals and composition of the final list of good practices for the environment, (participation of the Spanish delegation by teleconference).

• Visit to the city's Botanical Garden, familiarization with the local and Mediterranean flora, creation of artistic depictions of elements of the environment.

• Visit to the Opera dei Pupi, getting to know traditional artistic ways of expression, as well as historical representation.

• We thank our friends from Palermo for everything they offered us!
